    There will be an FBLA informational meeting D-200 on Thursday, September 20 at 9:30am and 1:00pm.  The purpose of the meeting is to share details on what opportunities exist for students within FBLA.

    All prospective FBLA members should report to this meeting. Returning students are also welcome and can sign up if they have not done so yet.

    There will be a mandatory SkillsUSA meeting on Thursday, September 27.

    Two SkillsUSA representatives from each lab and all students running for SkillsUSA office should report to the small cafeteria for the SkillsUSA membership meeting.

    Any upper-level student interested in LCCC Dual Enrollment for Spring 2019 should see their counselor for a permission form. Completed permission forms with all signatures need to be returned to the student's assigned counselor by Monday, October 15th to be included in the placement testing that will be scheduled. 

    Students continuing in dual enrollment also have a new permission form that needs to be completed by October 15th. If the form is not returned by the deadline, the next deadline to submit paperwork will be February 15th for the following Fall 2019 semester. Late applications will not be accepted.

    SkillsUSA is dedicated to building champions for America's workforce.  Being an active Skills member offers opportunities for fostering both personal and professional excellence framed by high standards for both technical and academic skill development. It is designed for students and run by students. 

    AT LCTI, it is our goal to support our students not only as members of Career and Technical Student Organizations, but as leaders. 

    If any LCTI student wishes to serve as a SkillsUSA officer, they may make their wish know by identifying themselves and the office to which they wish to run for election by contacting Mrs. Khanuja at before Friday, September 21.

    Every student entering the LCTI Bake Shoppe must have a pass to Bakery.

    Cell phones must be turned OFF in all LCTI Academic and Career and Technical education classrooms and lab areas. Cell
    phones should also be turned off in all office areas, Guidance, Health Room, and any other
    enclosed room or area. 

    Cell phones MAY NOT be charged in any classroom, office area or
    cafeteria during school hours. 

    Students are permitted to transport cell phones to and from LCTI provided that: 

    1. The phone must not be visible while in LCTI classrooms or offices or at a school
      sponsored activity 
    2. The phone must be turned off while in LCTI classrooms or offices or at a school
      sponsored activity 
    3. The phone must remain off during a school evacuation unless otherwise directed by LCTI

    Exception – you may listen to music during your lunch period and while walking in the hallway.
    Music must be turned down as to not distract or disturb others.
